12 Months

Now that I can walk I really love to play outside and in the hose. I have just gotten my top two front teeth - which wasn't very fun, but I wasn't overly cranky about it either. Not much else is new. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my baby sister in just about a month. Also, I had my 1 year check up and I am 31.5" tall (95th percentile) and I weigh 23lbs 8 oz (70th percentile). The doc said I will be nice and tall like Daddy with stats like that!

My 1st Birthday

Well, I made to my first birthday and boy was this year an exciting one for my parents. Now I am totally walking on my own - what is that thing you call crawling? In fact I prefer to run, even though my feet can't quite keep up with the rest of me yet. That has caused lots of bumps and bruises but you know they really don't seem to bother me as much as they freak out Mom and Dad, as they are constantly doing the "Uhhhh" sucking in-hissing as I fall for the 10th time today. Anyway, I'm starting to get better at eating on my own and solid foods. I'm a chocoholic like Daddy and will eat anything sweet.

I absolutely loved the chocolate cake Mommy made my for my birthday. Better yet, my Mimi was able to come down and celebrate with me. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Walking

Well I had to share with everyone that I am beginning to walk! I am consistently taking 3 or 4 steps between things so it won't be long before I am Mommy's worst enemy mwaahahaha.

11 Months

I am 11 months old now and doing a really good job of keeping my Mom busy during the day. I love to get into any trouble I can find including toliets, dog bowls and racing up the stairs if I'm lucky enough that someone forgot to close the gate *wink wink*. I still like to open and close the washer and dryer doors and play in cabinets. I am also starting to find my 'climbing instinct' and find it amusing to climb in or on whatever I can. Mom and Dad took me to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC and that was loads of fun. I loved the baboons!

I helped Mommy bake a cake! And then took a break.
