Fall

We took a quick trip up to the farm stand to pick up hay bales, mums, and pumpkins - tried to snap a few picks, some came out better than others...
Not in the mood apparently
Can never get them to look and smile at the same time, go figure...

Really Mom - the sun is totally in my eyes
This is actually Amelia's 3rd skinned knee, however it was the first one I was able to catch a picture of. She is certainly a rough and tumble little girl. For this one, Alex ran into her on his tractor and knocked her over. She screamed AT him, didn't cry or anything, she was just peeved that he had the nerve to run her down.
All ready for our shopping trip to the outlets - Alex did not want his picture taken

Apple Picking

Living in the NE we decided to take advantage of the beginning of fall and go apple picking at Rodale Organic Farm's 1st Annual Apple Festival. It was scheduled for the 12th with a rain date of the 13th. It rained ALL day the 12th, so when we showed up on the 13th we were certainly surprised to hear that so many people showed up in the rain on Saturday that they held the festival anyway and we missed it. However, Sunday was BEAUTIFUL and the kids had a FANTASTIC time. Alex made a little squeal grunt everytime he pulled an apple off of the tree that was hysterical. He had his own little basket that he filled and thought it was just the best thing ever. Both kids definately enjoyed eating whole apples in the field...
