First Words and Smiles

Alex:

Well, it has finally happened - I said my first words. I now say Thank You pronounced "danku." And I even do it in context. I also very rarely say yes and no. As you can see by the pictures I continue to be quite the little monkey climbing anything in reach. So much so, that mom and dad have had to move the couch against the walls so I don't fall off of the back of it.

Amelia:

I had my two month check up and everything checks out wonderfully. I am a biggg girl measuring in at 23.5 inches and 12 lbs (about the 70% for both). I am 2 inches longer and 2 lbs heavier than Alex was at my age! Other than that I am still calm and laid back and smile tons.

Miami Visit

Alex & Amelia -
We were wonderful for our trip down to Miami. We got to see Great Grandma and Grandpa and Great Aunt Fran. We were very loving and well behaved - Mommy and Daddy were very proud. We even got to see Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sarah briefly before we left. All in all the trip was short but lots of fun. We can't wait to do it again soon.

PA Visit

Alex -

Not much is new with me. I am getting teeth number 7 and 8 and had the unfortunate luck to get an ear infection while in PA. But I am all better now and back to running around like a madman. I had a lot of fun seeing everyone we had time to see and even do a little shopping with Mommy and Mimi. I kept a good watch on Amelia. I even help Mommy to burp her, although her pink paci's are way better than mine, so I steal them often. I am still growing like a weed, the Dr. said I am 25lbs now.

Amelia -

Not much new with me either. Alex keeps stealing my pacies when Mom isn't watching so that is annoying to me. I am starting to smile and be awake more. I am still a very calm and easy going baby so I know mommy is trying to enjoy that as much as she can while it lasts. Alex and I did really well traveling which was a great relief to Mommy and Mimi.
