We are finding lots of things to do here in Gainesville to keep busy. Especially in the fall, there are a lot festivals and fairs that are great for families. We have discovered some are better than others. We also visited the Botanical Gardens here in town which was a big hit. There is tons to explore and over a mile of trails through the different gardens. Alex also tested and passed for his first junior karate belt, we couldn’t be more proud. For Columbus Weekend we decided to check out Sea World. The kids had a fabulous time and were super excited to try out their first ‘rollercoaster.’ Then at the end of the month we were lucky enough to get a visit from Pop. We took him to the bat festival (which was so/so) but then he took the kids bowling for the first time. Its an entire month later and the kids are still talking about how great bowling is!
