Dan made it home for R and R in late January. The kids were slightly hesitant with him for about the first 5 minutes at the airport, but as soon as we arrived home and they started messing around, it was like he had never left. We had a great time with him here! The kids were happy and behaved and geniunely excited to have him home. Alex never left Dan's side and woke up every morning calling for Daddy.
One of the first days that Dan was home we took them to a traveling zoo at the fair grounds. It wasn't huge but the kids had a good time seeing the different animals.
