Well, all things considered (Dan being in Iraq) we had a wonderful Christmas. All of the uncles made it home! And I must say, Alex had and is having a wonderful time with each of them. He follows them around like a puppy - its adorable! Thankfully, they are very understanding and patient with him and seem to enjoy the attention as much as he does. Also, Amelia loves taking them books to read to her. I also think she enjoys the break from Alex bugging her because he has others to bother.
Last year when Alex was Amelia's age he really didn't pay mind to any of the decorations, the tree or the ornaments. However, his sister is completely opposite. She LOVES the tree and loves to bring you ornaments off of it. And she is so interested, in well, everything, Mimi decided to not put a lot of it out. Also, Amelia has had the bad fortune of getting 2 molars and 2 teeth during the holidays so she spent a lot of time on my lap, but she was a trouper through it all.
